Workshop Description

The heartbeat of our music classroom pulses with the social-emotional development of students as they form supportive relationships with one another through collaboration. In this session, we will delve into lively community building games, songs, and projects that can be adapted for use in classroom and performance settings. Gaining inspiration from popular music, traditional song, and children's literature, participants will work together to create ensemble pieces with voices, movement, and classroom instruments. Fostering togetherness in our music classrooms will empower students to create positive change as a global community.
